Jonathon Krois

Jon is an Associate at Richman Law & Policy. His work focuses on animal welfare, which is his passion, as well as on environmental protection and human rights.

Prior to joining RLP, Jon served as an assistant district attorney at the New York County District Attorney's Office, where he represented the People in criminal appellate litigation. Before that, he was an attorney with the Natural Resources Defense Council, working to protect communities from the harmful effects of energy extraction through litigation and policy.

Jon received his J.D. from Columbia Law School and B.A.s in Medieval History and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is admitted to practice in New York.
